[Courtesy: Steven Covey]
What I learnt ?
Please draw two circles, one inner circle and one outer circle. Inner circle represents circle of influence and outer one represents concern. If you focus your energies on the concern circle, it contracts the influence circle. If you focus your energies on the influence circle, it expands bigger and bigger is the concept. Act on things which are in your control and influence. [Credit: Steven Covey – Habit1-Seven Habits of highly effective people]
Circle of concern:-
• Motorist jumping the red sign and get annoyed
• China’s president visit and traffic jam in Chennai
• Kazhaga nunbar
• Celebrites Life
• Big Boss
• Drama serial
• Weather
• Economy
• Politics
• Social media comments
• News
• Other’s opinion/criticisms on you
• Natural disasters
• Wars, weapons and terrorist threats
Circle of influence:
• Accept that people jump in red signal as everyone is busy. Do not get annoyed.
• Keep illaraja’s or Anirudh’s songs with you when you expect traffic jams due to Chennai. If you want to go to an extra mile, you can keep Steven covey’s audio book.
• It is my friend’s individual choice. However my friend is also having a family and kids. He has to take care of his health for himself and for his family before dedicating himself to Kazhagam. ராமன் ஆண்டாலும் இராவணன் ஆண்டாலும், our political front almost remain the same. Focus on influential circle.
Other circle of influence activities are:-
• Your attitude and enthusiasm
• Books that you read.
• Course you take
• How do you spend your free time
• Travel plan
• What you do
• What do you want to become
• Where you live
• What is your contribution
• Your brand
• Skill you learn
• Articles, blogs that you write

If someone criticises you in social media/on road traffic signals, Please accept the reality and move on. Similar to the proverb, சூரியனை பார்த்து நாய் குறைக்கர்து, we can ignore those people who dump their trashes on us and move on.
Please act on the activities that bring the Hero in us and avoid those activities that drain our energy and making us zero.
Whether you get like in FB or not, Please like yourself.
