Lessons
learnt:-
1.
நீங்க நல்லவரா கெட்டவரா? – My 2
cents are, no one is 100% good person or 100% bad person. We all have a shades
of grey in everyone of us. There is a good person in a bad guy and there is a
bad guy in a good person. We cannot classify some as Good person or bad person.
It is not binary always.. It is aligned with William Shakespeare Quote – “There
is nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so”.
2.
Bribing is wrong. லஞ்சம் வாங்கறதும்
தப்பு லஞ்சம் கொடுக்கறதும் தப்பு.
Just because everybody is bribing, bribing is not
the right approach.
3.
Keep all documents properly in tact so that you can walk
with pride
. தலை நிமிர்ந்து நடக்கலாம். தமிழன் என்று சொல்லடா தலை நிமிர்த்து நில்லடா
4.
பேராசை பெரு நஷ்டம்.
Everyone is carrying a camera cell phone, eventually you might get caught in
one day or other.
5.
Hats off to Chennai Traffic Police. I dedicate this
episode to Chennai traffic police for their dedicated service during Corona.

Season
3 / EP-16 -
இது ஆண்களுக்கான
பாடம் - A few things men should learn from
Chetan Bhagat – Life In Simple Terms – Personal Transformation Journey

இந்த YouTube channel லை
வாழ வைக்கும் தெய்வங்களாகிய எல்லா ஹீரோயின்களுக்கும், ஹீரோக்களுக்கும் வணக்கம்.

A few things men should
learn from Chetan Bhagat – Lessons Learnt.

·
Men often tell the qualities that
they want to see in their
‘Ideal Woman’.
·
For instance, she should be a career
woman whose hobby is cooking and who will treat his parents as hers even if
they don’t treat her as their daughter.
·
Such is the expectation level of men
from women.
·
I respect immensely for giving equal status to women in the real sense
of the term is Chetan Bhagat.
·
what touched me the most was his
deep understanding of women’s feelings.
·
All women expect love, care, and
support from their husbands. And more than all of this, they expect their
husbands to understand and respect their feelings.
But this happens rarely.
·
Accept a Woman as She is!
o
In Indian society, the first
term for marrying a girl is often she should be a virgin even if the guy is a
big flirt. She should have great culinary skills along with being a career woman.
Girlfriends are different from wives. Girlfriends are for fun and wives to
spend life with.
o
He has shown them as human as men
are.
They are sweet, innocent, caring but also very bold.
o
to accept women with all their
virtues and vices.
·
Support a Woman as She supports a
Man!
o
If a girl cooks food for her office
going husband, cleans his laundry, or takes care of kids it’s considered
something very normal; a part of her duty. But if a man does all these things,
he is considered a God, literally.
o
So, in a way, a woman’s sacrifices are her duties and a man’s (which happens
rarely ever) are glorified to the extreme.
o
Chetan sir is the one who attracted
everyone’s attention towards this inequality first. He clearly states that a
man is as responsible for household duties as a woman. He is a
house husband while his wife is working and
he takes pride in it.
·
Understand Your Wife even if You
Worship Your Mom!
o
Every boy (particularly in India)
epitomizes his mom as an Ideal woman and wishes his wife to be a carbon copy of
her. He feels indebted to his mom for everything he is. Even if she does
something he doesn’t like, he doesn’t tell it to her ’cause it will break her
heart. He thinks my mom is a loving and kind woman who loves everyone in the
world. She loves me and in the same way she loves my wife as well. She is the
best mother-in-law a woman can get! Yes, it’s the perception of each and every
guy in India of his mom! Is it true?
A mom and a
mother-in-law have the same feelings and emotions for their son and
daughter-in-law? No way! If it was true even a bit, the earth could have been
heaven for all women!
·
Women aren’t made Just for Cooking!
o
In India cooking is given great
importance! If you are a girl, you must learn nay love cooking! Even if you are
working, you should be skilled in cooking yummy food for your husband and kids.
If you can’t cook, you are not a woman. If a guy cooks, it’s his choice but
girls don’t have a choice! For them cooking is mandatory. No cooking means you
are a lazy lady who doesn’t care for her family.
o
Chetan Bhagat in his most recent
non-fiction work has urged all men not to marry hot phulka makers as most of
them do rather look for that partner who will complete them;
give meaning and shape to their life. I hope men could learn from this genuine advice from Mr.
Bhagat.
o
அக்னிமூலை
பெண்களின்
சிறைச்சாலை
பாரதி
பாஸ்கர்
·
Molestation, Divorce, etc Don’t
Degrade a Woman!
o
He knows that she is the same girl
who used to be his best friend in college. She has got those fine qualities of
head and heart which no
so-called ‘pure’ girl has got. So, respect and love a
woman for the qualities she possesses. Don’t judge her by her past.
To sum up, I wish
all men could develop a good understanding of women’s feelings like Chetan
Bhagat and give them their due respect. A woman sacrifices her everything to
make a man’s life and this fact shouldn’t be ignored by any man. Her value
doesn’t depend on how great a cook she is or how chaste her body has been. The
true value of women depends on their dedication and care with which they take
care of you and your family day and night. Respect them for that.
Each one is unique. Don’t compare them with others.

Season 3 / EP-15 – Corona - ஒரு சிறிய வெளிச்சம் even Man Made by
Padmabhushan Dr. BM Hegde – Life In Simple Terms

·
A good food, fruits and vegetables in plenty, not
much of meat, because meat eating will not boost your immunity and the other
thing is daily exercise. Good enough rest at night. Good sleep, restful sleep,
and that’s it.
·
Mind – that’s the most important thing. You know,
mind is the boss in everything. Diseases are controlled in mind. And if you’ve
a mind which does not worry about anything, it just could not care less.
·
It means that the stress could be one of the
factors too, that makes the disease.
·
All negative feeling like grudge, jealously, anger,
and pride. They damage the immune system. Compassion, you know, you want to
help others or found a way to help others, that’s really called the immune
boosting system.
·
Stress and distress is a simple book which most people
can understand and benefit from.
·
Treatment: Serum therapy is
the best. If you can get it, Patient wise recovery, if you can get serum pulled
off, nothing like that.
·
However, hydroxychloroquine does have a role in
spite of, some negative feedback that we are getting but that might be stemming
reasons other than the treatment and a hydroxychloroquine is been drug which
has been used for a long time, uh, and has been mentioned in low doses. It can
be safely used.
·
Who should be
cautious:
Asthma, patient with lung disease or cardiovascular disease is an extra
risk. Otherwise, nothing to worry about these things.
·
Hegde’s feeling is, predicting the future is very
difficult, but his feeling is it will all die down in a couple of months’ time
then you will not hear about Corona Virus at all.
·
Well, so far there is a very good chance that in
short time period, all these things will die down and things will go back to,
as they used to be.
·
So all this planning and talking about doing things
drastically different will become irrelevant in some time.
·
Absolutely. And the second thing is that the germ
will be muted so fast that the vaccine you produce today will be out boarded in
next few months’ time.
·
Thanks
to media and the people who are trying to sell it, it’s man made! Quote: “Never
make money in a sick room,” was the advice of the founder of modern medicine,
Hippocrates.
·
So this whole hype that has been created around
vaccine, I think it’s overinflated business.
·
A business sight. Vaccine is a big money. You know,
drug is given only to patients, but the vaccine is given to every human being.
·
Well, if you look at the economics of it, vaccine
is a profitable thing, that’s how it has been.
·
If you follow a good lifestyle with proper sleep,
proper food, physical activity, positive mindset, whether it’s from spiritual practice
orjust out of kindness of the humanity in general, then that is enough to boost
the immune system of an individual.
·
Irrespective of what germ comes and goes, no germ
can master of the immune system.
·
Indians are so much westernized that they want
everything from the west.
·
When Hegde
was talking about coconut, 30 years people condemn him, they used to condemn
him. Now that the western just said, coconut oil is good. Then they say yes,
coconut oil is good. They want a certificate from America.
·
Yeah. Doctor has been talking about coconut oil 40
years ago because coconut oil has been mololoric acid and now our immune system
is mololoric acid and it’s mololoriate that ultimately helps and coconut oil is
the best choice that we can use for cooking.
·
Patients who have Corona and if they have a
co-morbidities like diabetics or heart disease or chronic lung disease, then
the outcome are much more severe. The point is that why does Corona, any
infection will, uh, will be bad for them? It’s not as just about Corona.
·
Again, this is something that’s mind
boggling to me is that these things have been there. Social distancing, wearing
a mask and hand hygiene has been there for thousands of years. And, but is
being projected as something new has come out of nowhere. But no, no, no, no.
This is a one story. The old wine in the new bottle.
·
Indian methods are the best, you know, you will not
shake hands. You will do Namaste. You touch your own hands. With humility,
humility is a great virtue, with health giving.
·
There’s a lot of talk about, you know, some people
say ginger, some people say garlic, some there’s a lot of talk about turmeric.
Drinking turmeric in milk etc., All Indian spices are very good for the immune
system. Turmeric is very very good. Ginger, Garlic everything is good.
·
So, so in conclusion of this, let me just
summarize for the benefit of our viewers. First of all, Corona is no different
from any other infections that we have had or infection that we are going to
have in future.
·
Since it is just like another infection,
there is no need to be afraid of it. Because fear itself will be one of the
factors affecting your immune system.
·
Very significant role of media and other organizations
in, in hyping it up for whatever reasons they have.
·
I get five, 10 minutes look at the television news,
it gets worried..
·
And if you follow the ancient lifestyle of getting a
good duration and good quality of sleep, good food and some kind of physical
activity, if you cannot go out there, extend what you can do, walk inside your
house or whatever physical activity you can do inside the house and try to
maintain a positive mental state.
·
Positive
mental state is about not being jealous, not being greedy.
·
Yeah, absolutely. Because it is a rigorous factor.
Wanting to be greedy, that kills you, not the other person.
·
How compassion cures. Okay. So being compassionate,
being kind, loving the lord, loving everyone around you, be it, your, family
members or your colleagues at working place. If you’re passionate and loving to
them.
·
Being compassionate to others so that all these
things, if they are done and follow that will have a positive impact on your
immune system, which will be better than getting the infection?
·
In a short time period, this will become old story
just like SARS and H1, N1 and other infections.
·
Evidence based Vs Evidence Burden – if you see the evidence
based medicine, short studies, but then I applied on the public, the results
are totally different.
·
All that I can tell the young doctors is not to
worry about this another disease.
·
We’ve seen all kinds of new diseases when we were
students also. And, we learnt through it and survived through it. Nothing to worry.
It will be alright.
