EP- 100 – பயணங்கள் முடிவதில்லை – Leadership Lessons from Zero to Hero 100 days Journey – Greatness Series - Zero to Hero 100 days Personal Transformation Journey

We are in Episode 100. Grand Finale day.

இந்த
YouTube channel லை வாழ வைக்கும் தெய்வங்களாகிய எல்லா
ஹீரோயின்களுக்கும், ஹீரோக்களுக்கும்
வணக்கம்.

Wish you all a very happy Pongal.

As we have completed all the 7 Habits of Stephen Covey, I want take up
“Greatness Series” to address other best behaviours, habits, simplifying tools,
good books, Videos, TED Talks and resources.

5 Leadership lessons that I learn from Zero to Hero 100 days journey:-
·
Consistency in small thing. Consistency is not a small thing. I failed
in many a times. I gave up quickly. I did not finish anything that I have
started most of the occasions. My friend Ramkumar always says, I do not one
thing consistency for a longer period. Listen to your voice. That is the
biggest gift that I got from him. Changing the habits are the hardest. It
requires time and effort. Some says, you require 21 days, 45 days and 66 days.
To permanently instil a new habit, I would say you need 100 days. If you are in
any situation of life, you need 100 days to make it better in phenomenal way.

·
Analysis Paralysis. My friend Vissanth asked, “Do you have
script for all the 100 episode”. I was not having it. I had high level blue
print. I was confident that I could come with 100 episodes based on my
toastmaster’s exp. Do not procrastinate. Do not wait for the perfect moment to
start. Start something and refine it every day.

Don’t wait for 100% of info. Powell's advice
is don't take action if you have only enough information to give you less than
a 40 percent chance of being right, but don't wait until you have enough facts
to be 100 percent sure, because by then it is almost always too late.

·
“And, when you want something, all the
universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.” – Alchemist, Paulo Coelho. I
got all the support from my family, friends, and relatives and from everywhere.
Nothing can be achieved by one person. In these 100 days, I got support,
content, piece of suggestion, feedback from every one similar to Paulo Coelho
quote.

·
Be
strong - EP-64 – Be Strong (like Bheema) in the hard moments - Sharpen the Saw
– Zero to Hero 100 Days (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=msTdXPNgBG0&t=18s). Murphy's law is an adage or epigram that
is typically stated as: "Anything that can go wrong will go wrong". When
I lost my father, my wife supported me to continue. She was very strong to push
me in the hard moments. Similarly, My relatives Bharath and Revathi helped me
to continue the journey.

·
Find
your purpose/meaning that drives you internally. We feel intrinsically
motivated after you identified that. Just lit the fire within you. I was very
lazy and not committed to any actions. Now my purpose is creating a positive
awareness, helping people in distress help me to push me every day.

Next steps from here:-
As I mentioned in few videos, My mother suffered from Depression for 15
years. I learned to manage my stress and balancing the life. As a way of giving
back, I can help for FREE as a life coach to manage any of you who are
interested to manage their life challenging situations, be it a student or home
maker or career challenges. I am sharing my numbers in FB page and email
address in the description.

What is in it for me? My mom always says, make your life meaningful for
4 people. They in turn do the same similar to “Pay it forward movie” (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pay_It_Forward_(film))

I am taking two weeks break. Will be come back weekly two videos (One on
Mondays and one on Fridays).

Please share your suggestions, feedback, comments to

EP- 99 – அன்புள்ள அப்பா – Leadership Lessons from my father – Greatness Series - Zero to Hero 100 days Personal Transformation Journey

We are in Episode 99. Count down has started in our 100 days journey.

இந்த
YouTube channel லை வாழ வைக்கும் தெய்வங்களாகிய எல்லா
ஹீரோயின்களுக்கும், ஹீரோக்களுக்கும்
வணக்கம்.

As we have completed all the 7 Habits of Stephen Covey, I want take up
“Greatness Series” to address other best behaviours, habits, simplifying tools,
good books, Videos, TED Talks and resources.

I spoke about my mom a lot. A lot of my friends enquired that I have not
spoken about my father. I am reserving it for this episode. Similar to all
movie programs, they keep the best in the last.

5 Leadership lessons that I learn from my father:-
·
Get out of your comfort zone – He was in a small village near
Thiruvaiyaru (Kalyanapuram). He ran away from his house to North India. He
worked there for 40 years. He broke his language barrier and got out to bring
his best. Whenever I was in cross roads, this helps me to break my barrier
thereby I experience Paradigm shift in my life. Like my father, my first
renowned job was in Gujarat.
·
       உழைப்பே உயர்வு
He was hardly cleared his 10th
grade. He was not having any sophisticated degree like mine but he proved
himself through sheer hard work.  He had
impeccable English. He was earning Rs. 4000 salary even in seventies. In our
house, we have a picture of my father with Jawaharlal Nehru. Similarly, I was a
mechanical engineer and worked in a reputed firm. I had to quit for chasing my
dream in software. Whenever I think about what I do have, I think about my
father and move courageously instead of playing a victim mind-set.

·
கனவு காணுங்கள்
-
He had never given any piece
of advice. He was a man of few words. He went and attended conference in London
around 1973 itself. In house, we used to have his London pictures. It helped me
to visualize myself of going to abroad and earn money. Those thoughts got
seeded because of him.
He had given all the freedom of choice to
me. My reading habit came from these choices. I used to read all Rajesh Kumar
Novels, Lakshmi Novels,  Chandilyan
Novels in teenage days. It helped to shape my thought process. I want to give
the same to my daughters instead of putting them in boxes.

Character: He stayed 40 years in North
lndia. He stayed alone for sake of bringing, educating us.  He sacrificed his life for our sake. Our life
would have derailed, if he got addicted to drinks and girls. He thought us a
valuable lessons by living his life without speaking about it explicitly.

எவன் ஒருவன் தனிமையில் சிறந்தவனாக இருக்கிறானோ அவன் தான் சிறந்த தலைவன்
Life is a character Gymnasium.

·      Use nicer
words. Err is human. He had one bad habits of using harsh words. Those words
torture me, my mother, my sisters and brother. I want to learn from it and not
to follow this habit. Instead I want to follow Valluvan’s saying
o

Having thought these lessons, He was with me when I started this 100
days series. He died on 2nd December due to old ages and he was
bedridden. He was 92 at the time of his death. I dedicate this episode to him.

EP- 98 – நான் தனித்தவன் என நினைப்பவன் ஜெயிக்கிறான் - Vijay TV Gopinath Motivational Speech- Zero to Hero 100 days Personal Transformation Journey

We are in Episode 98. Count down has started in our 100 days journey.

இந்த
YouTube channel லை வாழ வைக்கும் தெய்வங்களாகிய எல்லா
ஹீரோயின்களுக்கும், ஹீரோக்களுக்கும்
வணக்கம்.

As we have completed all the 7 Habits of Stephen Covey, I want take up
“Greatness Series” to address other best behaviours, habits, simplifying tools,
good books, Videos, TED Talks and resources.

Vijay TV Gopinath is one of my inspiring role model.. He also came from
a village background similar to mine and reached heights because of his determination,
dedication, and hard work. I am a big fan of his motivational speech. Today I
am going to share one of his best motivational speeches. I see this as an icing
on cake on our leadership journey.

Lessons learnt from the book(Courtesy Vijay TV Gopinath):-

No pain No gain.
·
India
is the superme power on knowledge domain.
·
Keep
questioning yourself - Naan Yaar
·
Can one
grow and be successful by following righteous path?
o
One can
be successful only by following righteous path. One can prosper quickly by
doing wrong things. To be successful, one has to follow righteous path. It
takes more time, but one will be successful in the end.
·
Fundamental
question in front us is, “How to be successful in life?”.
·
Two highest
selling book categories are Self-help books, how to be rich.
·
Nobody
can give Richness and self-help from outside. It has to come from Inside.
·
One
should feel richness within themselves
·
If you
want to be rich, we have to be rich at your heart.
o
Our
mind needs to think like a rich person.
o
Our
thought needs to have rich perspective. It is the first step to be rich.
·
We are
poor in our hearts and minds due to the external circumstances and financial
difficulties.
·
There
is no relation between your current circumstances, financial bank balance and
richness in your heart.
·
To be
rich at heart is an art of living.
·
To be
rich at heart is related to your richness in thoughts.
·
Have a
dream of getting 10,000 Crores in dream. We are miser in our dreams.
·
We
don’t have big picture in life.
·
Our
dreams are very small in life.
·
To be
rich in heart, his characters are
o
Have a
creative visualization and visualize about your future and works towards it.
o
Forgive
mistakes
o
one
constantly thinks to break his barriers
o
Do
something constructive for others
o
No
envies or jealously
o
Be
happy with the success of others.
·
If a
person is rich at heart, money, prosperity will come automatically.
·
One
needs to be rich in hearts and thoughts to experience richness in life.
·
Most of
time, we spend in thinking about failures.
·
Nagore Rumi says, We spend more in thinking
about failures.. if we take 50% of efforts from that, we will be successful.
·
Whatever
that may not work out, we know it very well.
·
One
knows the possibility, all the reasons for not doing things. We very well know
what won’t work for us very clearly.
·
One does
not spend time in doing things in action. One does not worry about doing
things.
·
One
focuses on the things that one does not have.
·
Focus
on things that we have.
·
We
always focus on weakness. Focus on
your strength.
·
We all
have uniqueness about ourselves. 700 crores people are unique and special in
some way.
·
Instead
of spending more time on weakness and our short comings, focus on strength.
·
You are
the hero of your life.
·
You are
the best man in the world is the fundamental understanding that is required.
This is what nature / God keeps reminding us all the times.
·
You are
the unique personality in the globe.
·
Each
one of us is unique in an individualistic way.
·
One who
believes his / her uniqueness and his/her speciality wins.
·
If we
think, we are one among the many then we lose ourselves among the crowd.
·
If you
feel, you are unique, you will come up. That’s it. PERIOD.
·
[Gopinath]
I was rich in my heart even I was leading poor circumstances.
·
1. Be rich at your HEART
·
2. Do not focus on your weakness.
Concentrate on your weakness. Focus on your strength.
·
Most of
us do not have an understanding of our own strength and weakness.
·
Because
our strengths and weakness have been scripted by others in our society.
·
Suggestion
to parents, do not put your children in a box.
·
Let
them realize and understand their strength and weakness.
·
All our
weakness has been told to us by somebody.
·
We should
decide our weakness. Not others.
·
In
life, one should understand our weakness and strength.
·
I do
not have any strength is a lie.
·
Face
your worries, short comings.
·
Find
out what bothers you inside.
·
Face
your challenges. It is not overcome your challenges.
·
Facing
failures, falling down after failures are not mistakes. Need to get up after
your failures. Need to get up every time you fall. Not getting up is the only
failure in life.
·
We are
all used less. Not useless.
·
We are
raising our children in a safe guarded way by not showing challenges.
·
We are
giving weakness to our children.
·
Life is
full of challenges. Challenges always come. Face the challenges with confidence
and courage.
·
Life is
full of commitments and full of problems.
·
In Life
we put ourselves in commitments, difficulties / challenges.
·
Marriage
is a system to face crisis in life.
·
Marriage
is a disturbance to our freedom. Why are you marrying? One can abstain from it.
·
For
5000 years, we have been following the system of marriage.
·
Life is
full of commitment.
·
Life is
a beautiful way to face crisis / challenges and difficulties.
·
வாழ்வு என்பது
நெருக்கடிகளுடைய
அழகான
தொகுப்பு
·
If we
do not have crisis in life, we become mad.
·
We do
not want to face any crisis in life. That is the biggest challenge that we have
now. That is what stopping us from growth and success.
·
If you
do not face any crisis on your life for a longer time that implies you are on a
wrong path.
·
Life is
beautiful.
·
Life is
so simple. It is so easy.
·
·
Competition
is about defeating others. Challenge is about winning us. Success is about shaping
oneself in challenges.
·
This is
not a competitive world. This is a life full of challenges.
·
This
society is preparing everyone to make money. Making money is not the purpose of
the society. Living is the purpose of society.
·
The
very purpose of life is living.
·
We are
educating ourselves to score marks. The very purpose of education is developing
us.
·
Society
needs to understand one’s own self. What needs to be done is decided by the
ultimate power.
·
Listen
to your intuition. Follow it and do it. That’s it.
·
Don’t
make your children as a pawn to win your own ego’s battle with relatives & friends.
·
We all
have freedom of choice. Awareness to do what we want in life.
·
Determination
in life is the key.
·
Learn
from humans and humanity is the richest person.
·
Awareness
towards society and mankind gives purpose.
·
The
greatest partiality which is happening in India is education.
·
Let us
grow our children as a global citizen. Not children alone to your home.
·
Instilling
the purpose in children requires a self-courage, holistic view of the world. I
should have a space to think about it.
·
We are rising
up our children as white collar slaves.
·
Very
purpose of life is living.
·
Purpose
of life is not earning.. We cannot be rich.
·
Mind /
Thoughts should be free to experience life.
·
Experience
nature, child’s laugh and random acts of life. Don’t suffocate ourselves.
·
Going
beyond me, myself, family and doing something to the society shows the richness
of life similar to Tata, Azem Premji etc.
·
Greedy does
not make one rich. Magnanimity makes one rich.
·
Love
and affection to the society and towards society will make a man successful,
more powerful in the society.
·
What is
the internal churning happening due to an event is the key. We worry about the
event. We do not worry about what is happening within us.
·
Find
yourself, you are the hero.
·
I never
see a hero like me.
·
To win
in life, we need a winning heart.
·
We are
knowledgeable, we are intelligent, we are highly confident people, and we all
have good situational thinking. We do not all these strength of us.
·
We all
have seeking attitude within us.
·
4
points
o
Focus
on your strength, just concentrate on your weakness
o
Be rich
in heart.
o
Going
beyond one, me, myself and family attitude, Take something bigger than you
towards contributing to society.
o
Get out
of artificial competitive mind-set. You are the universe. You are living alone (Abundance
mind-set). We are born not to defeat others. We are born to win.
·
Life is
beautiful. Enjoy it. Make money and give it others.
