Week 2 of 13 – Know ThySelf –
Discover Your Strength
– Life In Simple Terms – Personal
Transformation Journey

Welcome back.

இந்த
YouTube channel லை வாழ வைக்கும் தெய்வங்களாகிய எல்லா
ஹீரோயின்களுக்கும், ஹீரோக்களுக்கும்
வணக்கம்.

We are marching towards week 2. In addition to practising Respond with
10 Sec Delay, we are adding one more life skill for this week which we are
going to practice daily for the remaining 12 weeks.

Since my childhood, I / We have been brought up by comparing myself with
others. My mom always said, our next door’s kids were studying very well. For a
long period of few decades, I associate myself with my educational
qualifications, degrees, job that I do, company that I work with.

By looking back, this is what I think. We all have two identities within
us.

Two identities within us
1.       One is our true self.
2.       Other is the perceived self that is
determined by our parents, schools, society so on and so forth.

In my early forties, I started working on figuring out my true strengths
using various personality type tools. Today I am going to talk about MBTI.

This week’s topic is Know Thyself – Discover Your Strength.
Know ThySelf Means:-
For me "know thyself" means to know your authentic self, true
you or sincere core.

Myers–Briggs Type Indicator
The Myers–Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI)
is an
introspective self-report questionnaire
indicating differing
psychological preferences in how
people perceive the world and make decisions.

FAQs
What is Season 2?
From the 100 days journey, we are taking 13 Life Skills and putting
things into daily practice to make our life better, stress free and more
connected with our individual strength. It is a journey towards individual
peace and family peace by putting all the strategies, tools and techniques
together.

Why 13 weeks?
This an aged old phenomena coined by Benjamin Franklin. He formulated 13
virtues. I took the 13 from there and come up 13 Life Skills to make our life
better. Our purpose is not to become Benjamin Franklin or Gandhi, our purpose
is to live the life according to our best terms.
One of Stephen Covey quotes came to me very often. All these personal
growth things that we discussed are common sense, not commonly practised. I was
thinking on How to bring common sense into common practice in our daily life.

Background behind 13 - Thirteen Virtues
In 1726, at the age of 20,
Benjamin Franklin created a system to develop his character. In his
autobiography tp , Franklin listed his thirteen virtues as: 13 Virtues

What is purpose of daily
logs?
To ingrain these life skills, habits, techniques, we all need a
mechanism to put things into practice. As Jeff Bezos says, “Good intentions
never work; you need good mechanism to make anything happen”. That is why, we
have daily logs.
