We all must have
been in the similar situation.
How to overcome these type of situation?
Do we have any simple strategy?
Do we have any hack?
How to feel powerful during these stressful
moments?

I was clueless
until I hit upon Amy Cuddy’s TED Talk – Your Body Language shapes who you are.

It was mind blogging

Please watch it without fail. All credit goes to Amy. I am just a mouth piece
here. I am just sharing the best practices. These are the best of the best
similar to Sabari’s fruit offerings to Lord Rama.

Who is this Amy Cuddy?

Amy Cuddy’s

About the talk
Body language
affects how others see us, but it may also change how we see ourselves. Social
psychologist Amy Cuddy argues that "power posing" -- standing in a
posture of confidence, even when we don't feel confident -- can boost feelings
of confidence, and might have an impact on our chances for success.

Exercise for today: Watch the TED Talk and pick your fav. Power
pose.

Tagline: Fake it till you make it.

What I learnt from the talk are:-

Language.
·
Our thoughts, feelings, and expressions, our
physiology are influenced by non-verbals.
·
Powerful people tend to be more assertive and
confident and more optimistic. Take more risks.
·
Power is associated with high testosterones and
low cortisol.
·
Message:-
o

feel about us.

Do our nonverbal govern how we think and feel
about ourselves.

Conclusion:-
After watching this TED talks, I have seen Great Leaders and
others using these Power Poses quite often.

Regarding the Power Poses, I am able to draw parallel to
Yoga Sutra. These poses are really effective. It affects our body, mind,
emotions and our feelings.

Our bodies change our minds
… and our minds change our behaviour
….and our behaviour changes our outcomes

Women are also Heroines in our Channel.

Please use power pose for 3 minutes to
feel more powerful.
