We are in
Episode 81.

இந்த YouTube channel லை வாழ வைக்கும் தெய்வங்களாகிய எல்லா
ஹீரோயின்களுக்கும், ஹீரோக்களுக்கும்
வணக்கம்.

As we have
completed all the 7 Habits of Stephen Covey, I want take up “Greatness Series” to
address other best behaviours, habits, simplifying tools, good books, Videos,
TED Talks and resources.

Today I initially
wanted to talk about “Awaken the Giant within” – Tony Robbin’s self help work.
Later I decided to speak about this Netflix documentary which is very
informative and transformational.

Last year December
I watched this documentary on Tony Robbins : I am not your guru.

Who is Tony
Robbins?
Anthony Jay Robbins
is an American author, philanthropist, and life coach. Robbins is known for his
infomercials, seminars, and self-help books including Unlimited Power and
Awaken the Giant Within.
In 2015 and 2016
Robbins was listed on the Worth Magazine Power 100 list. His seminars are
organized through Robbins Research International.

What
is this documentary about?

Tony Robbins: I Am Not Your Guru is a 2016 documentary film directed by Joe Berlinger. It goes behind the scenes
of his seminar "Date With Destiny" in Boca Raton, Florida taking
place each year. The film captures the effort of producing as well as the
effects of the participants

Like
all great salesmen, multimillionaire “life and business strategist” Tony
Robbins is a master storyteller. Tony Robbins: I Am Not Your Guru documents the
man’s six-day “Date with Destiny” seminar, for which 2,500 people pay $4,995 a
pop to watch Robbins intensely interrogate a chosen few of them in a hotel
ballroom, breaking down their life problems into an easily definable
core—typically their parents or their relationships—and building from that a
path forward to some future happy ending. He, in essence, transforms the
messiness and complexity of each subject’s life into a gripping narrative, one
with a linear arc about overcoming one’s fears to achieve a goal.

Anyone who’s wanted to take a plunge into
motivational speaking superstar Tony Robbins’ “life performance coaching”
without surrendering a larger chunk of time or cash now have the option of
watching “Tony Robbins: I Am Not Your Guru,” which condenses one of his
trademark seminars down to two-hour form. Those expecting insight into Robbins’
life or career, let alone the overall self-help industry, will be disappointed
by this atypically non-investigative
Joe Berlinger documentary.
But then the director himself had a “transformative” experience attending one
of the subject’s seminars not long ago, so his critical antennae are not turned
on here. Those who have likewise already benefited from Robbins’
positive-thinking boot camps may be the ideal audience for this slick feature,
which becomes available exclusively to Netflix members worldwide.

Outside of the interrogation sessions, Robbins speaks mostly
in hazy generalities—“truth,” “depth,” “love,” “vision,” “drive”—while offering
bland all-purpose advice like “Reclaim who you really are.”
Robbins simply
gifts a career as a life coach to one woman, the survivor of a horrifying
religious sex cult that sold all her possessions to attend Robbins’s seminar.

As we have touched
most of self help topics already. I want to take sexual abuse towards women as
a topic for today.

Even in India,
women are facing daily challenges at home, at work places, in buses, trains or
wherever she goes. At times, Husband is becoming villain which we have seen in
Satyameva Jayathe Program. The program says 90% men are behaving like Animal
with cruel sexual intentions. Media portrays women as an Item. Every part of
women is being exposed as sexual objects. To be a Hero, Men should treat women
as emotional person rather than sex objects.

To start with, let
us all respect women in our homes. It can be your mother, wife, sisters. Slowly
we can extend to every touch points of human interaction with women.

Tagline: நேர் கொண்ட பார்வை towards every women.

Exercise: Watch
this Netflix documentary without fail.
